Portfolio I NATURE and LANDSCAPES Images from nature to calm and heal Click on any image for larger photo and more info A ROOM WITH A VIEW - SOLD AT SEA I AT SEA II WILDFIRES I These pieces were started in 2007, clearly influenced by the  raging fires in and around San Diego.  Between October 20  and November 9, 2007, wildfires raged out of control in  Southern California.  1500 homes were destroyed, 9 people  died, and at least 85 more were injured.  Wildfires are often  considered beneficial to the wilderness, as many plant species are dependent on the effects of fire for growth and reproduction.
